May 2012 at HyLo— Your Invitation to Eat Drink and Be Green

Spring is in full blossom, offering boundless opportunities for fresh thinking and fun festivities. In the spirit of renewal, we’re switching things up this month and will *not* be hosting an event tomorrow (the first third Thursday we’ll miss in six months!).

Instead, we present you with an alternative event next TuesdayMay 22 from 6-8 p.m. — a pop-up preview of the upcoming fundraiser Eat, Drink, and Be Green. We would love for you to join us for this sneak preview of our fresh crop of hyperlocal brands, featured in our Rittenhouse gallery (333 S. 20th St.) through June 8. This exhibition will culminate June 9 in the third annual EDBG cocktail party, a fabulous event benefitting the Schuylkill River Park.

Enjoy wholesome all-natural refreshments provided by Pure Fare, who truly believes “You are what you eat.” Sample Jin-Ja, an enticing new wellness elixir packed with antioxidants and weight-loss benefits. Meet the creator of Pangaea Earth Foods raw juices, and speak with healthcare professionals from Hopper Medicine.

We’ll also introduce Melissa D’Agostino of D’Agostino Fashion Textile Design, an innovative brand presenting limited edition, hand-dyed linen scarves and wraps. Sophisticated stripes and signature shibori patterns offer a new way to elevate outfits from simple to stunning. Seize this chance to rejuvenate your lifestyle, and join us as we look forward to Eat, Drink, and Be Green! This grand finale event is not to be missed. Definitely one to kick-off your summer fun and festivities!
