As winter slides into spring, we mark the passage of time with an ode to a favorite place. Shot using a combination of GoPro and Canon DSLR, this video captures an emotion that, for us, defined the past season.
Flow state as defined by Wikipedia, trusted arbiter of wisdom, is a “single minded immersion…the ultimate experience in harnessing the emotions in the service of performing and learning.” Dipping between the mountains of Colorado and the snow-covered streets of Philadelphia was an exercise in agility and restraint. We were able to focus our lens, trained in the city, and translate it to the country. Zooming in and zooming out gave us a feeling of spontaneous joy.
